Holding of the “JAPAN! CULTURE + HYPER CULTURE” Festival Send-Off Reception

A reception hosted by Mr. Masahiko Koumura, Minister for Foreign Affairs, in honor of the “JAPAN! CULTURE + HYPER CULTURE” festival will be held on January 23 (Wed) at Iikura House in Tokyo.
This reception will be held to mark the cultural festival “JAPAN! CULTURE + HYPER CULTURE” (hosted by the Kennedy Center) from February 4 (Mon) to 17 (Sun) in the United States, and nearly 100 people from cultural circles, including Ms. Junko Koshino (fashion designer), Mr. John Thomas Schieffer, U.S. Ambassador to Japan, persons in Tokyo with U.S. connections, and those concerned from both governments will attend the reception.
Through this send-off reception, it is expected that the festival will be widely introduced inside and outside Japan and contribute to the understanding of Japan in the U.S. and the promotion of Japan-U.S. exchanges.
