Visit to Japan by Dr. Ziad Abu-Amr, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Palestinian Authority

Dr. Ziad Abu-Amr, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Palestinian Authority, will visit Japan from June 11 (Mon) to 13 (Wed) at the invitation of the Government of Japan in order to attend the 4th Japan-Palestinian Ministerial Consultation Meeting .

During the meeting, Dr. Ziad Abu-Amr will exchange views with Mr. Taro Aso, Minister for Foreign Affairs, on the current situation in the Palestinian territories, Japan’s assistance to the Palestinians, and the “Corridor for Peace and Prosperity”, which is Japan’s unique effort to help promote the Middle East Peace Process. The forthcoming visit will be his first visit to Japan.
