Mr. Masayoshi Hamada, Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, to Visit Geneva, Switzerland

- From March 11 (Sun) to 13 (Tue), Mr. Masayoshi Hamada, Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, will visit Geneva, Switzerland.
- On March 12 (Mon), Mr. Hamada will attend the fourth session of the United Nations Human Rights Council and deliver a statement on Japan's human rights diplomacy. He will also attend the screening of a documentary film "Abduction: The Megumi Yokota Story" and the photo exhibition on the abduction issues, and have talks with officials of the United Nations and others.
- On March 13 (Tue), Mr. Hamada will attend the Conference on Disarmament and will give a statement on Japan's stance of disarmament diplomacy.
