Visit to Japan by Mr. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation of the Republic of Djibouti

  1. Mr. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation of the Republic of Djibouti, will visit Japan as Guest of the Foreign Minister of Japan from June 5 (Mon) to 8 (Thu).
  2. During his stay in Japan, Mr. Youssouf will have talks with Mr. Taro Aso, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and other Japanese government officials to exchange wide-ranging views on bilateral relations between Japan and Djibouti and the peace and development of Africa.
  3. Mr. Youssouf's visit is expected to further strengthen the existing friendly relations between the two countries. It will be his first visit to Japan.
