Fifth Japan-China Consultations concerning the East China Sea and Other Matters

- The fifth Japan-China Consultations concerning the East China Sea and Other Matters will be held on May 18 (Thu) in Tokyo.
- The Consultations will be attended on the Japanese side by Mr. Kenichiro Sasae, Director-General, Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau, Foreign Ministry, Mr. Nobuyori Kodaira, Director-General, Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, and other officials concerned from relevant ministries and agencies; and on the Chinese side by Mr. Hu Zhengyue, Director-General, Department of Asian Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other officials concerned from relevant ministries and agencies.
- At the Consultations the participants will discuss the development of natural resources in the East China Sea and other issues.
