Visit to Japan of Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany

Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, will visit Japan from February 20 (Mon) to 22 (Wed) as Guest of the Minister for Foreign Affairs.
During his stay in Japan, Mr. Steinmeier will meet with Mr. Taro Aso, Minister for Foreign Affairs, to exchange views on bilateral relations and the international situation.
It is hoped that diplomatic relations between Japan and Germany will be further deepened by the forthcoming visit to Japan by Mr. Steinmeier.
