Visit to Japan by Mr. Thongloun Sisoulit, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Laos

Mr. Thongloun Sisoulit, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Laos, will visit Japan from December 14 (Thu) to 17 (Sun) as a guest of Mr. Taro Aso, Minister for Foreign Affairs.
During his stay in Japan, Mr. Thongloun will have talks with Mr. Taro Aso, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and other leaders of the Government of Japan to exchange views on such issues as bilateral relations, and regional and international matters. He will also visit Okinawa to exchange views with Mr. Hirokazu Nakaima, Governor of Okinawa Prefecture, and business people of Okinawa.
It is hoped that Mr. Thongloun's forthcoming visit to Japan will further strengthen cooperative relations between Japan and Laos.
