Visit to Japan by H.E. Dr. Nkosazana Dlamni-Zuma, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Africa

  1. Dr. Nkosazana Dlamni-Zuma, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Africa, will visit Japan from December 3 (Sun) to 6 (Wed) as Guest of the Minister for Foreign Affairs.
  2. During her visit, Dr. Dlamni-Zuma will meet with Mr. Taro Aso, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and other Japanese government officials to exchange views on wide-ranging issues, including Japan-South Africa relations, African development and international issues such as UN Security Council reform.
  3. Japan and South Africa have enjoyed very close relations, and it is expected that this bilateral relationship will be further deepened by the upcoming visit of Dr. Dlamni-Zuma.
