Visit to Japan by H.E. Mr. Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda

- H.E. Mr. Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda, will visit Japan from November 6 (Mon) to 9 (Thu) at the invitation of the Government of Japan.
- During his stay in Japan, President Kagame will be received in audience by His Majesty The Emperor of Japan and have a summit meeting with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. He will also deliver a speech at the United Nations University.
- President Kagame's forthcoming visit will be his second visit to Japan after an interval of nine years (he visited Japan in 1997 as Vice-President), and the first visit by a President of Rwanda to Japan in ten years. It is expected that this visit will further enhance the relations between the two countries in various fields.
- President Kagame will be accompanied by three ministers including Mr. Stanislas Kamanzi, Minister of Infrastructure.
