Visit to Japan by H.E. Mr. João Bernardo de Miranda, Minister of External Relations of the Republic of Angola

H.E. Mr. João Bernardo de Miranda, Minister of External Relations of the Republic of Angola, will visit Japan from Aug 3 (Wed) to 7 (Sun) at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During his stay in Japan, Mr. Miranda will be received by His Imperial Highness The Crown Prince. He will also have meetings with leading figures of Japan including Mr. Nobutaka Machimura, Minister for Foreign Affairs, to exchange wide-ranging views on such issues as Japan-Angola relations including economic cooperation, trade and investment, and on such international matters as development issues in Africa and United Nations Security Council reform.
Japan opened its Embassy in Luanda, the capital of Angola, in January this year. It is expected that Mr. Miranda's visit to Japan will further enhance friendly relations between the two countries.
