Foreign Ministerial Meeting of the G4 (Japan, Germany, India and Brazil) on the United Nations Security Council Reform

- Taking the opportunity of his visit to Belgium to attend the International Conference on Iraq, Mr. Machimura Nobutaka, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will have a G4 Foreign Ministerial Meeting on the United Nations Security Council reform on June 22 (Wed) with Mr. Celso Amorim, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, Mr. K. Natwar Singh, Minister of External Affairs of India, and Mr. Joschka Fischer, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany.
- At the Meeting, there will be an exchange of views over such matters as the situation of support for the draft framework resolution and the future method of proceeding.
