Consultations between Japan and China concerning UN Reform

- Consultations concerning UN reform will be held between Japan and China on December 26 (Mon) in Beijing, China.
- Mr. Masaharu Kono, Deputy Vice-Minister for Foreign Policy, Foreign Policy Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will represent the Japanese side in the consultations. The Chinese side will be represented by Mr. Shen Guofang, Assistant Minister, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- The consultations will be held as part of an array of policy consultations between the two countries. The participants will discuss issues such as UN reform, including the reform of the Security Council.
