His Excellency Mr. Kessai H. Note, President of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and Mrs. Note, accompanied by a suite, will pay an official working visit to Japan from June 17 to June 20, 2003.During their stay in Japan, the President and Mrs. Note will make a State Call on Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress of Japan.
Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress will host a Court Luncheon in honor of the President and Mrs. Note.
The President will also hold a meeting with Mr.Junichiro Koizumi, Prime Minister of Japan.
The Prime Minister of Japan will host a Dinner in honor of the Presidentand Mrs. Note.
The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President and Mrs. Note, which will further strengthen the friendly relations existing between Japan and the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
