Visit to Japan of a Delegation of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Nepal, headed by Mr. Taranath Ranabhat, Speaker of the House of Representatives

At the invitation of the Speaker of Japan's House of Representatives, a delegation of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Nepal, headed by Mr. Taranath Ranabhat, Speaker of the House, will visit Japan from February 8 (Tue) to 13 (Sun) as guests of the House of Representatives.

During his visit, Mr. Ranabhat, together with Mrs. Ranabhat, will be received in audience by Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress of Japan. The delegation will make courtesy calls upon the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the President of the House of Councillors, the Prime Minister, and the Transport Minister, and have talks with representatives of economic circles.

Mr. Ranabhat entered the political world after taking an active part in the educational and judicial worlds, and has been in his present office since June last year after twice serving as the Minister for Law & Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
