Visit to Japan of Mr. Somsavat Lengsavad, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Laos

Mr. Somsavat Lengsavad, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, will visit Japan from October 3 (Sun) to 7 (Thu) as Guest of the Foreign Minister.
During his stay in Japan, the Vice Prime Minister will have talks with the Japanese Foreign Minister to exchange views on bilateral relations, as well as various international issues of mutual concern. He will be received by Their Imperial Highnesses Prince and Princess Akishino. The Vice Prime Minister will also have opportunities to talk with Japanese parliamentarians.
It is expected that the forthcoming visit to Japan by Mr. Somsavat will further strengthen the friendly and cooperative relations between Japan and the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
