Second Japan-Cuba Policy Dialogue

- The second Japan-Cuba Policy Dialogue will take place on September 27 (Mon) at the Foreign Ministry in Tokyo. The first Dialogue took place in Cuba last October.
- Participants in the Second Dialogue from Cuba will be Mr. Jose Armando Guerra, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and from Japan,
Mr. Takahiko Horimura, Director-General of the Latin American and Caribbean Affairs Bureau of the Foreign Ministry. Mr. Guerra will stay in Japan from 25 (Sat) to 29 (Wed).
- At the forthcoming Dialogue, both sides will exchange their views on wide-ranging issues of common interest including the current bilateral relationship and its outlook in political and other fields, bilateral cooperative relations, and bilateral economic relations.
- Japan and Cuba have agreed to have this policy dialogue on a regular basis, and to exchange frank opinions on all sorts of theme.
