Second Japan-Cuba Policy Dialogue

  1. The second Japan-Cuba Policy Dialogue will take place on September 27 (Mon) at the Foreign Ministry in Tokyo. The first Dialogue took place in Cuba last October.

  2. Participants in the Second Dialogue from Cuba will be Mr. Jose Armando Guerra, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and from Japan, Mr. Takahiko Horimura, Director-General of the Latin American and Caribbean Affairs Bureau of the Foreign Ministry. Mr. Guerra will stay in Japan from 25 (Sat) to 29 (Wed).

  3. At the forthcoming Dialogue, both sides will exchange their views on wide-ranging issues of common interest including the current bilateral relationship and its outlook in political and other fields, bilateral cooperative relations, and bilateral economic relations.

  4. Japan and Cuba have agreed to have this policy dialogue on a regular basis, and to exchange frank opinions on all sorts of theme.
