Visit to Japan of a Delegation of Parliamentarians of the Kingdom of Sweden, headed by Ms. Birgitta Dahl, Speaker of the Swedish Parliament

At the invitation of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, a delegation of parliamentarians of the Kingdom of Sweden, headed by Ms. Birgitta Dahl, Speaker of the Swedish Parliament, will visit Japan from October 2 (Sat.) to 9 (Sat.) as guests of the House of Representatives.

During her stay in Japan, Ms. Dahl will be received in audience by Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress of Japan. The delegation will call upon the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Vice-President of the House of Councillors, the Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister, the Director-General of the Environment Agency, and leaders of political parties.

Ms. Dahl has already held the posts of Energy Minister, Environment Minister and other important offices, and is now in her second term as the Speaker.
