Visit to Japan by Prof. S. Jayakumar, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law of Singapore

  1. Prof. S. Jayakumar, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law of Singapore, will visit Japan from May 6 (Tue.) to 8 (Thu.) as Guest of the Foreign Minister.

  2. During his stay in Japan, Prof. Jayakumar will meet with Foreign Minister Yukihiko Ikeda, to have a wide-ranging exchange of views on such issues as bilateral and Japan-ASEAN relationships, and the international situation.

  3. It is expected that Prof. Jayakumar's visit to Japan will further deepen mutual understanding and promote cooperation between the two countries.
