Dispatch of Electoral Monitors for Legislature By-Election in Myanmar

Upon invitation from the Government of Myanmar, the Government of Japan has decided to dispatch a total of three electoral monitors from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Japanese Embassy for the Legislature by-election in Myanmar scheduled for Sunday, April 1.
The Government of Japan expects that the by-election to be held freely and fairly.
