- On December 15 (Japan Standard Time), Mr. Koichiro Gemba, Minister for Foreign Affairs, sent a message of condolence to The Honorable Hillary Rodham Clinton, Secretary of State of the United States, upon hearing of the shooting that occurred in Connecticut State on the morning of December 14 (Eastern Standard Time).
- In his message, Foreign Minister Gemba expressed condolences to the families of the victims of the shooting, and prayed for the families’ earliest recovery.
