- The Government of Japan welcomes that the new Libyan cabinet was inaugurated on Wednesday, November 14, through the national election for the first time since the collapse of the Gaddafi regime.
- The Government of Japan expects that the democratization process including the drafting of a new constitution will proceed smoothly, and that improvement of security and full-fledged reconstruction and development of the country will commence in Libya.
- The Government of Japan intends to continue its support for the construction of new Libya through utilizing Japan’s knowledge and experience.
