Mr. Koro Bessho, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, will visit the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan from Monday, June 6 to Thursday, June 9, 2011.
In Sri Lanka, Deputy Minister Bessho will have meetings with Honourable (Prof.) G.L. Peiris, Minister of External Affairs of Sri Lanka, and other senior government officials on the bilateral relations and the regional affairs.
In Pakistan, Deputy Minister Bessho will hold the 5th Japan-Pakistan Foreign Secretary Level Political Consultation with His Excellency Mr. Salman Bashir, Foreign Secretary of Pakistan, and have meetings with other senior government officials.
