Acceptance of Relief Supplies from the Government of the Republic of Korea

- In response to the Great East Japan Earthquake, relief supplies from the Government of the Republic of Korea (ROK) are scheduled to arrive at Haneda Airport at 09:40 P.M. on Tuesday, May 17 and at 02:15 P.M. on Wednesday, May 18.
- In light of needs in disaster-stricken areas, the Government of the ROK intends to transport to Japan 10,000 soaps, 51,000 towels, 2,590 packs of wet tissues and 700 pairs of socks. These relief supplies are planned to be distributed in Tono City (Iwate Prefecture), Ishinomaki City (Miyagi Prefecture), Fukushima City (Fukushima Prefecture) and Kaminoyama City (Yamagata Prefecture). Prior to this shipment, the Government of the ROK has already provided disaster-stricken areas with relief supplies such as food and water.
