Donation from Myanmar

In response to the Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake, the Government of Myanmar made donation of 100,000 US dollars, moreover, many people of Myanmar gave donation through the Embassy of Japan in Myanmar.
In addition, H.E. Mr. Thein Sein, President of Myanmar, H.E. Mr. Nyan Win, then Foreign Minister of Myanmar and many other Myanmar people from various fields sent letters and messages of sympathy and condolences.
The Government of Japan deeply appreciates the Government of Myanmar and its people for their expression of solidarity and generous assistance to Japan.
