Donation from the Independent State of Samoa

In response to the Tohoku district - off the Pacific Ocean Earthquake, the government of the Independent State of Samoa made a donation of 100 thousand US dollars (about 8 million yen).
From Samoa, the letter of sympathy was sent from Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Tourism Hon.Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, to Prime Minister Naoto Kan.
The Government of Japan deeply appreciates a sense of solidarity expressed and assistance extended by the Government of and the people of Samoa.
