- In the afternoon of March 18, 2011, the meeting of the relevant Ministries and Agencies of the Government of Japan and the Expert Team of the IAEA was held.
- Both sides discussed the possible activities of the Expert Team and reached the following conclusion: the Expert Team will start radiation measurement from today; the Expert Team will continue measurement activities tomorrow in the Tokyo area; the Expert Team will consider the possibility of moving to Fukushima region to conduct radiation measurement activities, taking into consideration the feasibilities including situation around the area and so on.
