In the afternoon of March 18, 2011, the meeting of the relevant Ministries and Agencies of the Government of Japan and the Expert Team of the IAEA was held.
Both sides discussed the possible activities of the Expert Team and reached the following conclusion: the Expert Team will start radiation measurement from today; the Expert Team will continue measurement activities tomorrow in the Tokyo area; the Expert Team will consider the possibility of moving to Fukushima region to conduct radiation measurement activities, taking into consideration the feasibilities including situation around the area and so on.
