Notification by the Philippines regarding the Entry into Force of the Japan-ASEAN Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement

- On May 28 (Fri), 2010, the Republic of the Philippines made the notification on the completion of its internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of the Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Partnership among Japan and Member States of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Japan-ASEAN Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement). With this notification, the Agreement will enter into force on July 1 (Thu), 2010 in relation to the Republic of the Philippines.
- This Agreement has already entered into force among Japan, Singapore, Laos, Viet Nam, Myanmar, Brunei, Malaysia, Thailand and Cambodia.
