Emergency Grant Aid for Measures against Polio in Tajikistan and Neighboring Countries

On June 15 (Tue), the Government of Japan decided to extend about 0.2 million US dollars ($195,950) through the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) for measures against polio in Tajikistan and neighboring countries.
Through this aid, the Government of Japan will assist the procurement and the transport of polio vaccines for about 0.35 million children in Tajikistan and neighboring countries.
