New Organization Arrangement within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the International Promotion of Infrastructure Systems

- The “Headquarters for the International Promotion of Infrastructure Systems” has been established within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), headed by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, and the “Division for International Promotion of Infrastructure Systems” has been established within the Ministry’s Economic Affairs Bureau.
These organizations are established to create a structure to consolidate information and knowledge related to infrastructure export within MOFA, in order to promote the progress of all-government efforts, including the holding of ministerial meetings. International promotion of packaged infrastructure systems has been set out as one of the 21 National Strategic Projects in the New Growth Strategy. - The Headquarters for the International Promotion of Infrastructure Systems, which will be convened with the participation of the Minister for Foreign Affairs (Chair), State Secretary, Parliamentary Vice-Minister, and senior officials, will be responsible for considering and deciding MOFA’s policies related to international promotion of infrastructure systems, necessary coordination, and other matters. The Division for International Promotion of Infrastructure Systems will be in charge of consolidating relevant information, as well as administrative works for holding the above and related meetings.
