Japan, along with the international community, condemns the recent coup d'etat in the Republic of Honduras and requests that the constitutional order be swiftly recovered, including the reinstatement of President Manuel Zelaya.
Japan hopes that the initiative taken by the international community, including the United Nations and the Organization of American States (OAS), will be successful, and that the problem will be solved peacefully.
