  1. Japan is shocked by the news that an attack on the Sri Lankan national cricket team in Lahore City, Pakistan, on March 3 (Tue) (local time), caused casualties.
     
  2. Japan strongly condemns this despicable act of targeting athletes who gathered for people- to- people exchange in a peaceful manner.
     
  3. Japan expresses condolences to the families of the victims and those who were injured and will continue to support the efforts by the Government of Pakistan in its fight against terrorism.
