  1. The Government of Japan welcomes the announcement of the new cabinet headed by Prime Minister Saad Hariri and appreciates that all parties concerned in Lebanon have reached the formation of the cabinet through dialogues and consultations.
     
  2. The Government of Japan hopes that Lebanon will under the guidance of the new cabinet consolidate its political stability and achieve economic development.
     
  3. The GOJ is determined to support the international efforts for realization of a comprehensive Middle East peace including the Lebanese track.
