The Government of Japan welcomes that on October 10 (Sat) the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Armenia have officially signed the “Protocol on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations” and “Protocol on the Development of Bilateral Relations” in Zurich.
The Government of Japan welcomes a series of developments regarding the normalization between the two countries that would lead to the peace and stability of the region, and expects constructive efforts from both countries towards finalization of the process including opening the common border between the two countries.
