Establishment of the Center for Consular Services

1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs established the Center for Consular Services as of October 1, Thursday, unifying  three window offices in the Consular Affairs Bureau－Certification Section, Overseas Security Information Center, and Visa Information Center.
    
2. The new Center for Consular Services is to provide even better consular services to Japanese citizens and foreign nationals residing in Japan.
