Statement by the Press Secretary/ Director-general for Press and Public Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the National Referendum on the New Constitution in the Republic of Bolivia

  1. Japan welcomes the news that in the Republic of Bolivia, the national referendum on the country’s new Constitution was peacefully carried out on January 25.
     
  2. Japan hopes that all the parties in Bolivia will continue to respect democratic procedures and that the country will achieve democratic and stable development.
