Statement by the Press Secretary/ Director-General for Press and Public Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on a Bomb Attack in Damascus, Syria

The Government of Japan strongly condemns the bomb attack which occurred in the South of the city of Damascus, Syria on Saturday 27 September. The Government of Japan expresses its condolences to the victims and their bereaved families, as well as its deepest sympathy for the people who were injured.
We strongly blame terrorism in any forms and manifestations and reiterate our stance that there can be no justification, whatsoever, for any acts of terrorism.
