Statement by the Press Secretary/Director-General for Press and Public Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the Establishment of the New Government in Cambodia

  1. The Government of Japan welcomes the establishment of the new government in Cambodia on September 25 led by Prime Minister Hun Sen after the democratic election held in July.
     
  2. The Government of Japan hopes that the Royal Government of Cambodia and the National Assembly will steadily implement measures for economic and social development, and intends to continue to support actively Cambodia’s nation-building efforts.
