- The Government of Japan strongly condemns the bomb attack which occurred
in the center of the city of Tripoli, Lebanon on Wednesday 13 August. The
Government of Japan expresses its condolences to the victims and their bereaved
families, as well as its deepest sympathy for the people who were injured.
- The Government of Japan strongly deplores the incident while we have been witnessing positive developments towards the stability of Lebanon such as the selection of a new president and the formation of the National Unity Government. The Government of Japan strongly hopes that the progress towards the stability of Lebanon will continue despite various difficulties.
