Statement by Press Secretary/Director-General for Press and Public Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Establishment of a New Cabinet in Lebanon

The Government of Japan welcomes the formation of the new cabinet headed by Prime Minister Mr. Siniora and appreciates that all relevant parties in Lebanon has reached its formation through dialogues and consultations.
The Government of Japan hopes that Prime Minister Mr. Siniora will consolidate political stability and continue to show strong leadership in steadily implementing domestic, economic and foreign policies.
