Deposit of the Instrument of Acceptance of the Amendments to the Agreement Establishing the ASEAN Promotion Centre on Trade, Investment and Tourism

Following the Diet approval for the amendments to the Agreement Establishing the ASEAN Promotion Centre on Trade, Investment and Tourism, the Government of Japan deposited on July 1 (Tue) the instrument of acceptance through the Embassy of Japan in Indonesia to the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia.
The amendments to the Agreement stipulate enhanced functions of the Centre. By Japan’s accepting this amendments, it is expected that the strategic partnership between Japan and ASEAN will be created and economic relations and friendship promoted.
