Senior Officials’ Meeting of Japan-U.S.-Australia Trilateral Strategic Dialogue, Senior Officials’ Meeting of Japan-U.S. Strategic Dialogue, and Japan-Australia Senior Officials’ Meeting

1. The Senior Officials’ Meeting of the Japan-U.S.-Australia Trilateral Strategic Dialogue, the Senior Officials’ Meeting of the Japan-U.S. Strategic Dialogue, and the Japan-Australia Senior Officials’ Meeting, will be held in Tokyo on June 9 (Mon).
    
2. The Senior Officials’ Meeting of the Japan-U.S.-Australia Trilateral Strategic Dialogue will be attended on the Japanese side by Mr. Kenichiro Sasae, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, on the U.S. side by Mr. William J. Burns, Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, and on the Australian side by Mr Michael L'Estrange, Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, to discuss issues of mutual interest of the three countries.
    
3. The Senior Officials’ Meeting of the Japan-U.S. Strategic Dialogue will be attended on the Japanese side by Mr. Sasae and on the U.S. side by Mr. Burns to discuss issues of mutual interest of the two countries.
    
4. The Japan-Australia Senior Officials’ Meeting will be attended on the Japanese side by Mr. Sasae and on the Australian side by Mr. L'Estrange to discuss issues of mutual interest of the two countries.
