- The Government of Japan expresses its concern over a series of recent
crushes and unrest in Lebanon.
- The Government of Japan, recognizing that the stability of Lebanon is indispensable for the peace and stability of the entire Middle East, urges all parties concerned to bring an end to the violence and to exercise its self-restraint. The Government of Japan also hopes that political stability will be restored in Lebanon in a peaceful manner through the dialogue as soon as possible.
