On the subject of the derailment and subsequent train crash which occurred in Zibo, in the western part of Shandong province of China, in the early morning of April 28, Mr. Masahiko Koumura, Minister for Foreign Affairs, sent a message of sympathy that night to Mr. Yang Jiechi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, through the Embassy of Japan in China.
