Establishment of Diplomatic Relations with the Principality of Monaco

  1. On December 14 (Thu), Japan and the Principality of Monaco agreed to establish diplomatic relations.
  2. Japan has had consular relations and maintained amicable relations with the Principality of Monaco in the arena such as the United Nations. It is hoped that this establishment of diplomatic relations will further strengthen the friendly and cooperative relations between Japan and the Principality of Monaco.
