TV Commercial Inviting Investment in Japan

The Government of Japan will run a TV commercial featuring Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi from March 8 (Mon) to 26 (Fri) in the U.S. and Europe, with a view to promoting foreign direct investment in Japan, which is one of Japan's major policy issues.
The Cabinet Office produced this commercial to advertise that Japan welcomes foreign direct investment and is an attractive investment destination. A DVD for the promotion of investment in Japan will also be made.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with its overseas Embassies and Consulates, intends to make much use of such a TV commercial and DVD when seminars and symposiums are held overseas to invite investment in Japan.
