- The Government of Japan reiterates its deep regret that Pakistan conducted a ballistic missile test on October 12 despite the continued efforts by the international community to promote the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles.
- The Japanese government further calls on Pakistan to respond sincerely to the efforts by the international community to promote the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles.
