On the morning of November 13, Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi sent the following message to U.S. President George Bush concerning the plane crash in New York."I am deeply saddened to hear the news of the plane crash which occurred in New York. On behalf of the people of Japan, I would like to offer my most sincere sympathies to the victims and their families."
