Conference of Japanese Ambassadors to ASEAN Countries

- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will hold a Conference of Japanese Ambassadors to ASEAN Countries in Singapore on June 24 (Thu.) and 25 (Fri.).
- Attendants at this Conference will be Japanese Ambassadors to ten ASEAN countries, Mr. Koreshige Anami, Director-General of the Asian Bureau, and others concerned from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- At this Conference, there will be an exchange of views on various matters, in preparation for the ASEAN post-Ministerial Conference with Dialogue Partners which will be held on July 27 and 28 in Singapore, including Japan's foreign policy toward ASEAN, taking account of the recent realization of ASEAN 10, and an analysis of the current state of the financial and economic crisis which broke out the year before last.
