The Dispatch of Ambassador on Special Mission to the Funeral of His Excellency Dr. Julius Kambarage Nyerere, the First President of the United Republic of Tanzania

  1. The Government of Japan has decided to dispatch Mr. Kazuo Aichi, the member of the House of Representatives, as an Ambassador on Special Mission to attend the funeral of Dr. Julius Kambarage Nyerere, the first President of the United Republic of Tanzania, which will be held in Dar es Salaam, the capital of the Republic, on October 21.

  2. This decision has been made considering the excellent relations between Japan and Tanzania, and also late Dr. Nyerere's great contributions to the national unity and development of Tanzania as the father of the nation as well as his efforts for the stability of the region as a whole, which the Government of Japan highly appreciates.
